Prior to the 2013-2014 school year, teachers who were assigned to two schools had completely different logins to PowerTeacher. Now, since the PowerSchool 7.8 update that was completed during July 2013, teachers who teach in multiple schools will be able to access all of their students with a single login.
1. Login as you have previously done in the past with your firstname.lastname.
2. When you are logged in you, will see your default home school listed in the upper-right-corner of the PowerTeacher screen in your web browser as pictured below.
3. To change schools, click on the word, “School” that is linked in blue as pictured below.
4. Once you have clicked the “School” link, a new menu will appear, and in that menu, each of your schools will appear as an option. To switch schools, go ahead and select the school you want to access by clicking on it.
5. After selecting the school in which you want to work within PowerTeacher, you can go ahead and look up information on specific students, launch the Gradebook, etc.

Each District 21 school is named after an American author, and learning and literacy is at the center of our Professional Learning Community. The Modern Pen provides a collaborative location in which District 21 teachers can come together to learn the skills that will enable their students to learn new skills and to understand concepts at an even different level than before.
