Organizing Your Google Drive

As staff members move to the new Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e staff laptops, the only way to safely store and back-up files is in Google Drive. There, in addition to Google’s server infrastructure, School District 21 also has three additional services providing back-up and security for both our productivity as a school district as well as for legal reasons. These include Google Vault, CloudLock, and Backupify.
Items on your Desktop are not safely backed-up
With CCSD21’s move to the “Cloud”, the Desktop is no longer backed up. Now, rather, everything must be safely stored in one’s Google Drive.

As a result, keeping one’s Google Drive organized has created some new questions and challenges for students and staff members.
