As you know, the W2 form provides a summary of one’s financial records from the year for income tax purposes, including taxable wages and tax withholding. The 1095 form provides insurance coverage information per the Affordable Care Act. As in previous years, employees may choose to receive their W2 and 1095 statements electronically through Skyward Employee Access.
IRS rules require that you provide the District with your consent in order to receive your W2 and 1095 in electronic format. An employee who consents to receiving his/her forms online will not receive a paper copy. If an employee does not consent, he/she will continue to receive paper copies, which will be distributed by January 31st of each calendar year, as required by the IRS.
